Why should you attend interest groups?
Our family history interest groups will help you advance your family history research. There is a number of different groups that cover a range of topics: Germany, Scotland, England & Wales, Ireland, DNA, Family Tree Maker or Tech Help Interest Groups. At the monthly meetings you learn and share knowledge for your topic of Interest. Members help each other breakdown brick walls, learn about great places to search and how to use the popular websites for researching your topic.
Check out the details below for when each group generally meets with the links to the future planned dates of the next few meetings of that group.
The Interest Groups Available:
Germany: Meets the 1st Thursday of the month from 1 pm to 3 pm.
Next Germany Interest Group meetings.
Scotland: Meets the 2nd Thursday of the month from 12 noon to 2pm.
Next Scotland Interest Group meetings.
Ireland: Meets the 2nd Thursday of the month from 2 pm to 4 pm after the Scotland Interest Group Meeting.
Next Ireland Interest Group meetings.
England / Wales: Meets 4th Thursday of the month at 1 pm at 3 pm.
Next England & Wales Interest Group meetings.
DNA: Meets the next Friday after the monthly General Meeting at 10 am to noon.
Next DNA Interest Group meetings.
Family Tree Maker: Meets the next Friday after the monthly General Meeting at 1 pm to 3 pm.
Next Family Tree Maker Interest Group meetings.
Tech Help: Meets the next Saturday after the monthly General Meeting at 10 am to 12 noon.
Next Tech Help Interest Group Meetings.
