Good morning,
I am attempting to find out if Jack Ferris whose address was Wynnum when he volunteered to join the Navy as an 18 year old in 1940 is related to Jack Ferris whom the Jack Ferris Lookout at Beerburrum is named. I have a picture of him and my brother Ron Gregg in their navy uniforms taken in 1940.

I will ask around Thursday and Friday at meetings if anyone knows about this matter and get back to you via email.

Hi Ray, I asked around the best reply was a suggestion to contact the Heritage Library at Nambour. With this query requiring local history about the lookout, it was felt that the Heritage Library could probably help give information about it. https://heritage.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/Collections/Heritage-Library
