Our November speaker is Ian Waters, OAM, J.P. (QUAL), AFRMIA. A military historian, keynote speaker and retired professional Risk Manager, Ian also has a long-time genealogy interest. He is an Honorary Life Member of the Genealogical Society of Queensland, which he founded in 1978.
His topic, The Black Days of 1942, is about how ill-prepared and vulnerable Australia, especially Queensland, was during the Pacific conflict in World War II.
