Topic: “Are Your Ancestors Hiding behind their FANs?
Pauleen Cass has been researching her family history since 1986, back in the pre-digital era. This has given her the opportunity to search for family history documents in archives and libraries in Australia and overseas, as well as “walking the ground” in her families’ homelands, meeting her fans.
Pauleen writes a genealogy blog, Family History Across the Seas. In 2016 she presented at the Clare Roots Society in Ennis about her research findings on East Clare Emigrants, about whom she also writes a blog. She has also published the history of her Kunkel-O’Brien family entitled Grassroots Queenslanders: the Kunkel family.
