Topic: “What Right Have You To Write About War!”
Joye Dempsey
Joye has a number of books, some listed in the national library. Joye’s first book, Of War & Other Things, poignantly explores the war experience through poetry and short stories, predominantly from a woman’s perspective.
According to the website Rare Aussie Books she is an “award-winning Australian performance poet of Anglo-Irish heritage, educated in Wales U.K., Joye completed her studies with a B.A. in Communications and Grad Dip. in Tourism Management from the University of Technology, Sydney.”
