Dr Ray Kerkhove Bankfoot House Talk 20 May 2022
As noted on the Sunshine Coast Council Heritage webpages, the SCC “has significant cultural heritage collections, which are managed by Cultural Heritage Services and the Heritage Library.”
The Council’s Historians in Residence, Dr Ray Kerkhove and Kate Kirby, have been studying Bankfoot House and the Heritage Library collections as part of their 2021-2022 residency. So to share their discoveries they will both be holding talks in May that members of the public are welcome to attend.
The first historian in residence talk is Dr Ray Kerkhove on Bankfoot House. It is found in the Historical Precinct, 1998 Old Gympie Road, Glass House Mountains. The talk will be held at Bankfoot House on Friday 20 May, 9.30–11.30 am.
