Why should you attend interest groups?
Our family history interest groups will help you advance your family history research. There is a number of different groups that cover a range of topics: Germany, Scotland, England & Wales, Ireland, DNA, Family Tree Maker or Tech Help Interest Groups. At the monthly meetings, you learn and share knowledge for your topic of interest. Members help each other breakdown brick walls, learn about great places to search and how to use popular websites for researching your topic.
Check out the details below for when each group generally meets with the links to the future planned dates of the next few meetings of that group.
Meetings are currently being held by Zoom so that members can continue to meet up during the COVID-19 pandemic. This also has the added advantage that anyone in the meeting can easily share websites, slides, images and loads more from their computer to the group. Meetings can go over the stated times when members wish to continue discussions further.
