Come to another interesting talk by Dr Jon Prangnell, a popular speaker at Caloundra Family History. This time the topic is about recent archaeological research done at Bankfoot House.
Bankfoot House is a heritage-listed homestead in the Glass House Mountains that was built in 1878. As a group we visited Bankfoot House a few years ago and Jon’s presentation will a enlighten us with recently discovered materials thus providing more background to this significant local history site.
Later in the year there is the Bankfoot House 150th Anniversary Celebration that you can attend.
