Guest Speaker: Shauna Hicks OAM
Guest speaker for the January 2025 Members’ Meeting is Shauna Hicks OAM who will be speaking on “Looking for Scottish Ancestors”. Shauna Hicks OAM is a Fellow of QFHS; Patron of History Queensland and a recipient of AFFHO’s Services to Family History Award. A regular speaker at Caloundra Family History we are very fortunate to have Shauna share this time about where you can locate Scottish Ancestors. Her talk will be packed with valuable content she has gathered since starting her own family history journey in 1977, and she brings expertise in many topics, including Scotland.
Getting to Know You and Show, Share and Tell Segments
Getting to Know You segment will be Colleen Jones, Assistance Secretary. Show, Share and Tell is about the Scotland Interest Group with coordinator Sue Brown John. After Shauna’s inspiring talk join the Scotland Interest Group to take your research to the next level. Attendees help each other progress their research.
