Kate Kirby: Heritage Library on Thursday 26 May

As noted on the Sunshine Coast Council Heritage webpages, the SCC “has significant cultural heritage collections, which are managed by Cultural Heritage Services and the Heritage Library.”

The Council’s Historians in Residence, Dr Ray Kerkhove and Kate Kirby, have been studying Bankfoot House and the Heritage Library collections as part of their 2021-2022 residency. So to share their discoveries they will both be holding talks in May that members of the public are welcome to attend.

The second historian in residence talk is Kate Kirby about the Heritage Library on Thursday 26 May, 9.30–11.30 am.

Location: Level 1, Nambour Library, Cnr Currie and Bury Streets, Nambour (Disability access to Level 1 in Currie Street).
