Our October 2026 speaker, Janeth Deen OAM, is an Australian multicultural community figure and a prominent member of Queensland’s Muslim community. Janeth Deen is a fourth-generation Queenslander whose great-grandfather migrated to Australia from India in 1898. Interested in history beyond her own family’s history, she’s a founder of the Queensland Muslim Historical Society.

The 15th October 2026 Members’ Meeting starts from 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm at the Caloundra Family History Rooms at Corbould Park, the home of the Sunshine Coast Turf Club.
Zoom is available for remote members and those who prefer to attend from home.
