Shauna Hicks is the May 2020 guest speaker. She is a former archivist, genealogist, author & blogger talking on “English Genealogy Resources You Should Know”.
As an experienced researcher, Shauna had been tracing her own family history since 1977. Since retiring, she has written a number of family history guides. Shauna is a regular speaker at genealogy cruises, conferences and seminars. She now operates her own business at www.shaunahicks.com.au. Plus finds time to write a blog, Diary of an Australian Genealogist.

Meetings
Monthly meetings commence at 1.30 pm on the third Thursday with a guest speaker followed by a short break when tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. The meeting then resumes with the general business of the group.
Visitors are always welcome to attend any meeting with a view to joining the group. Disabled access to the meeting room is available.

One of the very popular features of our monthly meetings is the visiting speaker.
