On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, join fellow members for a trip to Bankfoot House Museum in the Glasshouse Mountains. Bankfoot House is one of many significant cultural heritage collections held by the Sunshine Coast Council. It is the oldest surviving residence in the district. Built in 1868 by William Grigor and his wife Mary, it was the first stop for Cobb & Co coaches travelling from Brisbane to the Gympie goldfields.
The trip includes a guided tour and lunch at a nearby café. Lunch will be at your own cost.
There is no charge to visit the museum; they would appreciate a donation if you have some spare coins.
Departing CFHRI Rooms 9.15 am.
Close off: Wed. 6 May.
