At the November meeting, we will be having a conversation with Jackie McLaughlin, a WWII Bride.

As an 18 year old, Jackie joined the RAF and met her Aussie husband when he was a navigator on the Lancaster bombers during WWII.  She came to Australia in 1946, as a war bride. This engaging 96-year-old, with a clear and quick mind, will have many interesting tales to tell of her life during the 1939-45 war between the Axis powers and the Allies.
