More about the Maleny Pioneer Village
As noted on the Sunshine Coast Council Heritage section of their website you can see pioneer cottages and more history from the Maleny area. Priscilla Cottage houses mainly local heritage collections from the Bryce family. The Lawley House showcases Maleny’s timber and dairy industries. Glenferna is currently undergoing restoration to become a Schools and Post Office Museum. There’s a shed stacked with old tools and implements reflecting Maleny’s past farming era and a blacksmith’s shop with original implements, a cookhouse and an open kitchen.
The Maleny Cultural and Historical Society collects, preserves, restores and displays Maleny’s past life to share with the community.
