Our guest speaker in January 2024 is Tim Hill, a CFHRI Member. Tim is an accountant, counsellor, business owner and family historian who began researching his family 35 years ago.
“Norwegian Family History Research” is the topic Tim will be presenting.
Many of us with deep family roots in eastern England have some Scandinavian DNA in our ethnicity estimates. While this may be from a time before our research, expanding our knowledge of this area increases our understanding of our ancestors’ homelands.
Each month we have a speaker presenting on a topic linked to family history in some way. It might give us context to our ancestors’ lives, help with research skills, cover local history, be about a book or many other interesting topics.
The meeting is held in the rooms and via Zoom.
