Ian EdwardsonIn April 2020 we can look forward to another information talk by Ian Edwardson. The topic is “The Silent Majority – The Armies That Won The War”.

Ian Edwardson is a Caloundra Family History Research Inc member, historian and genealogist. One of his previous talks was about military medals. He also MC’d and helped with the Queensland Family and Local History Waves in Time conference held in May 2019.

Meetings

​Monthly meetings commence at 1.30 pm on the third Thursday with a guest speaker followed by a short break when tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. The meeting then resumes with the general business of the group.

Visitors are always welcome to attend any meeting with a view to joining the group. Disabled access to the meeting room is available.

One of the very popular features of our monthly meetings is the visiting speaker.
We are always looking for new and interesting speakers. If you have a story to share or know of a speaker who would be able to visit our rooms to share their story or their research, please contact us.
