She has worked in libraries and archives. These include the State Library of Queensland, John Oxley Library in Brisbane, Queensland State Archives, National Archives of Australia in Canberra, and Public Record Office Victoria in Melbourne. She is currently the director of her own research and consultancy business. You can find out more about Shauna on her business website, Shauna Hicks History Enterprises.
In conclusion, Shauna is well qualified to pass on her family history knowledge. Plus is a popular speaker and fellow member of Caloundra Family History.
Each month we have a speaker presenting on a topic linked to family history somehow. It might give us context to our ancestors’ lives, help with research skills, cover local history, be about a book or many other interesting topics.
The meeting is held in the rooms and via Zoom.
